Sault Ste. Marie, ON (2021 01 15) – UrbanFix Home Maintenance app is set to launch this January in Sault Ste. Marie with the goal of becoming a preferred one-stop destination for all quality services. The app connects users with service providers in the community such as cleaning, home repairs and trash valet with a graphic interface similar to Uber.

“Organizing the service sector is an immediate need, especially in the current climate,” said Steeson Mathew and Soalwin J Kallingal, co-founders of UrbanFix. “UrbanFix will start by offering day-to-day services to customers such as snow removal, car washing, trash valet and web design. Gradually, the app will diversify to services such as home maintenance, beauty services, salon at home, house cleaning, laundry, electronics repair and more. UrbanFix will offer more than 50 services under various categories.”

The UrbanFix Home Maintenance app was developed to assist customers, local businesses and new age entrepreneurs. The app also generates sales for service providers and helps them manage their business virtually through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and additional features. As a bonus, the app offers a referral program giving a free service of up to $25 to those that refer friends and family. The friend or family member will also receive a $15 credit towards a future booking.

“The Millworks Centre for Entrepreneurship has been working with Steeson, an international student, over the past several months,” said Harleen Puaar, Manager of Enterprise Services and Millworks. “He has showed a strong commitment and passion to this project and hopes to inspire others to consider entrepreneurship and support innovation and job creation in our community.”

With just a few clicks, customers can find local service providers in the area, schedule appointments and make payments through the app using a credit or debit card. To learn more about UrbanFix Home Maintenance app, sign up as a service provider, or download the app, visit https://myurbanfix.ca/
