Young COVID-19 death in Sheboygan is Wisconsin’s second death under 20 – Milwaukee Journal Sentinel

A person under 20 has died from COVID-19 in Sheboygan County, health officials said Monday. Officials did not provide the person’s exact age but said they were between the ages of 10 and 19.
It’s the second COVID-related death of a Wisconsin resident in that age group. The first was Madison East High School junior Isai Morocho, who died Nov. 25.
Sheboygan health officials did not provide further information Monday about the death in Sheboygan to protect the privacy of the family.
Statewide, officials reported 19 new deaths Monday, and 1,335 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The cases accounted for 25.8% of the 5,171 test results that came back Monday, according to the state Department of Health Services.
