A gift card fundraiser ended up coming through for the North Bay Food Bank.

Syl’s Neighbourhood Kitchen, located off McKeown Avenue in North Bay started the initiative on November 23 by offering $50 gift cards with $10 from every card going to the North Bay Food Bank.

On Wednesday, they unveiled the impressive fundraising total during a cheque presentation.

“Thank you to our friends at Syl’s Neighbourhood Kitchen.  $2,000 was donated today to the North Bay Food Bank from their holiday gift card campaign,” stated Deb Marson, executive director with the North Bay Food Bank.

“Thank you to everyone who purchased a gift card in support of this initiative.”
