Greely’s D-Squared delivers $4,000 in food to Community Food Share | Nation Valley News

WINCHESTER — Community Food Share recently recently benefited from the donation of a Greely construction company D-Squared. The firm donated $2,500 worth of canned food and $1,500 of pre-packaged snack food to the local food bank in North Dundas — also operating in South Dundas and North Stormont — as part of a #SpreadTheLove Campaign.

The donation comes eight months after D-Squared also donated and distributed $25,000 to local businesses struggling in the midst of the pandemic.

Community Food Share has launched a campaign to help people in need over the holidays, jump-started with respective $4,000 and $1,000 donations from the CP Holiday Train and Finch Recreation. CFS aims to see the community match that $5,000 total.

“D-Squared Construction are thankful for the business they have done over the past year in North Stormont County. In the spirit of their #SpreadTheLove campaign, they purchased non-perishable food from the Finch Market and donated it to Community Food Share,” CFS reported on its Facebook page.
