ReelTalk 2020: Youth food film event goes virtual | CBC News

(Nourish Nova Scotia)

Youth of all ages from across Nova Scotia were invited to make a short film about food and climate change. This year, you can check out some of those ReelTalk films on the Nourish Nova Scotia website. The virtual event will showcase eleven amazing short films produced by local youth filmmakers.

Each of the films were submitted as part of the Nourish Nova Scotia Food and Film Challenge, as part of Devour! Food Film Fest. The theme of this year’s challenge was food and climate change.

From the comfort of your own home, you can watch the top films from this year’s challenge, play fun trivia games, participate in fun educational activities online, and more!

Grace Mimnagh is the youngest filmmaker to win the challenge. You can see her film below and visit the Nourish Nova Scotia website to see some of the others!
