‘There’s still a lot to be done’: Sandersville targets neighborhood for repairs

SANDERSVILLE, Ga. — It’s the time of year where many communities are preparing to apply forThe Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The City of Sandersville has applied for and received the grant for many years. The annual grant allows states, cities, and counties to develop viable urban communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment. “It’s very competitive,”Robert Eubanks, the Director of Sandersville Public Works said.
