FLINT– Homeowners in Flint can now take advantage of a new program to help pay for certain renovations or repair work on their homes. During a regular City Council meeting, held virtually on Monday night, Mayor Sheldon Neeley told members and residents that a total of $1 million is available for distribution on a first-come, first-served basis. Qualifying applicants can receive up to $20,000 for their projects through the Flint Home Improvement Fund.
