Funding of $435,000 will go to make repairs and improvements at the Burwell Fairgrounds which is home to “Nebraska’s Big Rodeo. “According to theNebraska Department of Economic Development (DED), the Community Development Block Grant will be combined with a $310,000 local match. The repairs and improvements include fixing recent storm damage and making improvements to help those with mobility needs.
