As of Dec. 15, select refurbished Dyson vacuums are on sale at Walmart for up to 26% off:

When Consumer Reports named December as one of the best times to score a new vacuum cleaner at a deep discount, they really weren’t kidding.

If Amazon is our iRobot hotspot this holiday shopping season, Walmart’s the place to go for Dyson deals: The big box store just slashed the prices of some of the brand’s refurbished stick vacuums by up to 26%, bringing one model down to a mere $160 — that’s dirt-cheap for a Dyson.

When it comes to Dyson products (even its air purifiers and hair care tools), buying refurbished is one of our favorite shopping hacks: You can get a high-end gadget that looks and works good as new, save for the occasional cosmetic blemish, for a fraction of the price of a fresh-out-the-box unit; any parts that aren’t up to snuff get genuine Dyson replacements as needed. (For extra peace of mind, refurbished Dyson vacuums come with a six-month manufacturer’s warranty, and you’ve got the option of adding a Protection Plan for extra coverage if you buy through Walmart.)

You’ve got four models to choose from as part of the retailer’s limited-time sale:

This little guy happens to be our favorite Dyson vacuum for everyday use; highlights include a whole-machine HEPA filter that captures allergens, a 40-minute runtime, a dirt ejector, and tons of cleaning attachments (including two heads and four tools for dusting, scouring crevices, and more).

You can score a refurbished Dyson V8 Absolute on sale at Walmart for just $219.99, or 21% off its $279.99 MSRP. (For comparison’s sake, new ones go for $449.99.)

This cordless stick vacuum sports Dyson’s Direct drive cleaner head (whose stiff nylon bristles make for extra-thorough carpet cleanings) and a fully-sealed filtration system capable of trapping 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. A single charge will get you up to 60 minutes of runtime — that’s more than enough for most homes — and the “point and shoot” bin-emptying mechanism prevents you from having to touch any dirt or grime once you’re done vacuuming.

Available in an “iron” finish with purple accents, Walmart has a refurbished Dyson V10 Total Clean on sale for just $279.99 — that’s a whole 26% off its usual retail price of $379.99.

Weighing in at just under 6 pounds, this lightweight cordless vacuum (available in fuchsia) offers up to 30 minutes of fade-free suction and easily converts to a handheld mode to help you better clean corners and car seats.

The refurbished version is already a budget-friendly option at just $199.99 (new Dyson V7 Motorheads sell for $100 more), but Walmart now has it on sale for a mere $159.99 — that’s 20% off.

For an extra boost of power, consider splurging on the Dyson V11 Animal: Specifically engineered for homes with pets, it’s got a High Torque cleaner head that adapts to different floor types, a whole-machine filtration system, and a 60-minute fade-free runtime. An LED display with mode and maintenance alerts and an “acoustically engineered” design that dampens its sound makes it one of the fanciest stick vacuums out there.

Walmart usually sells refurbished Dyson V11 Animals for $449.99 apiece, but you can get one on sale for only $399.99, or 11% off. (Brand new models retail for $599.99 on the Dyson website, where they’re currently sell out.)
