Donations for Christmas Food Boxes
Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins’ volunteers Michael Thoerner, left, and Justin Rowberry were out collecting cash donations and non-perishable food items outside Food Basics on Friday for the annual “Ton in a Tundra.” The donations will be used to fill Christmas Food Boxes for families in need. The event was held at a half a dozen business outlets across the city.
