Chicopee set to open Feb. 20 – KitchenerToday.com
It’s the news Chicopee has been waiting for.
The provincial government announced on Friday that Waterloo Region will be moved to the Red-Control level of the reopening framework, effective Tuesday.
Under that designation, ski hills are allowed to open.
As a result, the Kitchener recreation resort will open to the public on Saturday, February 20, at 9 a.m.
A post on its website said there will be new rules in effect due to COVID-19, including mandatory face masks and required physical distancing.
