I’m a Shopping Editor, and These Are the 10 Things I’m Buying From Nordstrom for Spring – InStyle

When I first started working in fashion, I dreamt about one day owning a piece by Sandy Liang. The designer grew up in New York City like me and even went to my rival high school. Her clothing is inspired by the Chinese grandmas of the Lower East Side and, as someone who grew up admiring the very stylish little old grandmas in Queens, I instantly fell in love with everything she designs.
Liang’s pieces often sell out fast, and I felt like my secret was always finding some good gems of hers on Nordstrom. This print silk skirt is one of the best pieces in her latest collection, and it’s actually a collaboration with artist Sara Rabin, which means, yes, it doubles as a piece of art. It’s also sold out on Liang’s website, and considering there are hundreds of commenters on her Instagram asking when she’s planning on restocking, there is no way it’ll stay in stock on Nordstrom for much longer. Statement midi skirts are very much a big trend this year too, and if this one isn’t your cup of tea, Nordstrom also has thousands more starting at $30.
